I have been trying to figure out what to post in this blog hop for awhile. Hopefully, even my oldest friends will learn something new.
1. I love animals. In addition to the 7 people in the household, we also have 3 dogs, 2 cats, a chinchilla and a tank of fish. I complain about the dog/cat hair and the messes but I do love having them. Two of my dogs are rescues and the other was a “rescue” from a family member (the dog was brought back to my aunt after someone didn’t want her anymore). This is a picture of Sammi.
2. I have a soft-spot for disabled animals. Two of my dogs, Lucky and Gabe, are 3-legged. I think this started many years ago because I had a hamster that had a bad leg. My mom let me get her and nurse her back to health. Since then, I seem to gravitate towards those that are injured and disabled.

3. I love school. I have always enjoyed learning. I currently have 2 degrees beyond high school. I have a Bachelor’s of Arts with studies in Psychology and Sociology (minor was Religious Studies). I went back to school in 2001 and graduated in 2003 with an Associates Degree of Nursing. I am currently enrolled in a Nursing program this fall to complete my Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. I plan on continuing my education to get my Master’s of Science in Nursing and to become a Certified Nurse Midwife. If all goes as planned, I should graduate the year Joley starts Kindergarten.
