Clipless couponing: school me!

by Stefany on November 9, 2009

With school and everything else these days, I haven’t been able to clip coupons the way I used to. I miss couponing though and finding the great deals. So, I have decided to go clipless. I have an accordion file with 26 slots that I can fill with the inserts I have been stacking up. That is my goal today so I can start saving again this week.

Any tips I should know? I have a few coupon databases I am going to use. I think my two biggest worries are:

What am I going to do with all my internet coupons? Before, everything had its place. Now, I have to find a place for those because they don’t really fit into a clipless system right.

How many of the clearance and special sales am I going to miss by not having my coupons with me all the time?

I also am not sure how to organize my accordion file so it makes the most sense… by month, by month and type of insert (SS, RP, P&G), or some other way. Thoughts?

ETA: So, this is how I did it. I made a slot for SS and RP for each month. Then a separate slot for P&G. I also have a spot in there for my All You magazines. I am most worried about missing unadvertised sales, but we’ll see how that goes I guess.
