My kids wear jeans almost every day.  Johnny is in between sizes really though.  He needs the length of 4T pants but the waist of 3T.  Sadly, even the adjustable waist doesn’t help with this because the pants get drawn in so much that they fit awkward.  That is no longer a problem though thanks to C.belly Belts!
