Weight Watchers update (week 2)

Today was weigh-in for Weight Watchers. I was a bit nervous because I cheated mid-week and got on the scale and my weight hadn’t changed. I need to stop doing that though because I just randomly decide to weigh myself and it may be 8am, 3pm, or 1am. That is too inconsistent to get an accurate weight. So, I did the same as I have the past two weeks (my first weigh-in and then after week 1 of Weight Watchers).

This past week, I have exercised 5 out of 7 days. Tayler and I are doing the EAS Active nearly every night. I will take a break tonight because I have worked out the past 3 days but I do enjoy doing it. I am terribly out of shape but have great muscle strength. So, I need to work on cardio for sure. I like the EAS Active because you can do cardio and strength training in the same workout. Also, the workouts can range from 10 minutes to over 30 and offer a lot of variety within each one. We were doing random routines but started the 6 week challenge a few days ago. It is fun to work out with someone. Even though she can run laps around me, I can beat her any day in strength training so it works well. Anything on the floor hurts me bad so I am trying to figure out how to deal with that. My back has been in bad shape for several years and floor work is really hard on me. I think I need a yoga mat or something.

Anyway, back to Weight Watchers. I kept within my points this week and we ate out once. I also had Lion’s Choice after church on Sunday but made better choices. I didn’t trade my workout points in because I didn’t need to and I have yet to dip into my weekly points.

So, today’s weight….

I am down another 2.9 pounds!!! That is a total loss of 7.3 pounds over the past two weeks.

I am thrilled!
