Weight Watchers Update (week 10)

Slimming downI vowed last week that I would not see a gain when I weighed in this week.  I knew that I needed to get out and moving and I did.  I will be completely honest on this one though… I did not eat that great this week.  I didn’t eat good meals and made some not-so-great choices.  It was a rough week for me emotionally and I am an emotional eater.  I didn’t overeat but I didn’t make the best choices.

We have had some great weather lately and I took full advantage.  I walked a minimum of a mile outside each day.  I took the dog for a walk, walked by myself, with my parents, pushing a stroller, and even with Mike once.  I walk a 20 minute mile and it feels good.  There are hills and it is a good workout for me.  I walked a total of 9 miles this past week (in addition to my normal walking).  I am looking forward to Spring when I can be outside even more.

So, for the information you are reading this update for…

I lost 3.2 pounds this past week, for a total loss of 20.5 pounds over the past 10 weeks.

There were no changes in my measurements this past week.  I am okay with that for right now.  I can see a difference in my clothes and that is good enough for me right now.

This will serve as my Blog the Weight Away update for Wednesday, March 17th. In the meantime, be sure to offer encouragement to my teammates! (honestly, I am not sure if anyone but me and Paula are doing this anymore!)

Congrats on the weight loss, that is fantastic! I always feel it isn’t about the amount of weight you lose, it is how you feel and how you look in your clothes. Sometimes your body “adjusts” in dimensions before the weight goes bye bye :)

3lbs? go girl!! Doesn’t it feel great? I love walking to. My goal is to find a park to walk in because I’m tired of having to walk around 12x around on the track at my gym.

Go go go! Great job! You know I talked about meeting you for lunch, but then I thought we better just meet somewhere else for another reason because I don’t want to sabotage your goals at all. Plus, I need to do better myself too – I’m way off my wagon with eating and exercise right now :-(

Nice job! I’ve lost 10 lbs since the start of the year. Not as much as I’d like but I still enjoy a few treats here and there.
