Happy Mother’s Day!

I love my children more than I could ever tell anyone, more than I could put into words.  Being a mother means so much to me.   I can’t imagine my life without my two precious babies.  They are my world.

Being a mother is such a blessing… but with this blessing come hardships.  There are times when I am unsure of what to do.  At these times I turn to my own mother who is always here for me when I need her.  I am blessed in that way too.  Not only do I have beautiful children, but I have an amazing woman as my own mom.

As a Catholic woman, I also turn to my mother Mary, the mother of Jesus.  I pray to her to offer me guidance and love.  I ask for her prayers so that I can be as loving as she was of her own son.  I turn to Mary when I am struggling with patience and understanding because I could only hope to be as patient and understanding as her.  Today I am saying a prayer of thanks to Jesus for giving us his mother to love and be loved.

Thank you to my Mom on this Mother’s Day.  I love you so much and I know how lucky I am to have you in my life.  I hope that you know how much you mean to me, today and everyday. Without you, I would not be the woman and mother I am.  I can’t ever thank you enough for everything you have taught me and how much you have given me.  Thank you also for being a loving grandmother to my babies.  They are so blessed to have you in their lives too.  I love you Mom!  I hope you have a wonderful Mother’s Day!
