Crazy Critter and Bark Off Review and Giveaway

My dogs are destroyers.  Thankfully, they usually only destroy their own toys and not my stuff.  The worst thing they do is to remove the stuffing from their toys.  They don’t just remove the stuffing though.  They take that stuffing and spread it all over my house.  You will find little balls of stuffing from one end of the house to the other and up the stairs too.  It is quite annoying and frustrating.

Thanks to Crazy Critter, this is no longer a problem!  Why is Crazy Critter different?  Well, it provides the same squeaky sound that they want but without the stuffing inside.  No longer do I have to pick up remnants of pet toys.  The dogs can now play with their toy without a mess!  This is a win/win situation for sure!  The Crazy Critter is a good size too so the dogs are able to play and toss it around.  It is a big hit in our house!

Now, a toy is one thing but what about something that helps with your dog’s annoying habit of barking? Could it be???

We were sent a Bark Off to try to get our dog Gabe to stop barking. Now, to be fair to Gabe (because he does read this blog and I don’t want him mad, ha!), he does only bark at my husband. But, that barking is highly annoying and quite disturbing when the kids are trying to sleep or I am on the phone.

To use the Bark Off, you simply turn it on around the dog.  When the dog hears it, they are supposed to stop barking.  It is a training tool and I will be honest here.  I don’t think we used it enough.  Either that, or my dog Gabe is too darn stubborn for it to work.  Well, that and the fact that he is deaf may be an issue.  What I did notice is that our dog Sammi did react to the Bark Off (when Gabe was barking).  Can I say that it for sure works?  Sorry, I can’t.  Can I say that it is a waste of your money if you have an annoying, barking dog?  Absolutely not.  I am of the mindset that if it could work, it is worth a try.  We did see some reaction in Sammi so I am confident that it does do something.  It just didn’t work on the dog I had wanted it to… which could be doggy error (or something like that).

I would kind of like to put this to the test in my backyard though.  We have a very loud dog that lives behind us and I would love it if the Bark Off put an end to his barking.  We have discussed trying it out on him.  I mean, it doesn’t hurt him physically so what is the harm???
