Dora the Explorer Walkie Talkies Review and Giveaway

My kids love to play like they are police or super heroes. My son likes to call himself Captain Wonderpants and walks around with tools in his pockets saying that he can “fix anything”! Part of this fun is being able to talk to each other without being next to each other. You know how it is, when Captain Wonderpants needs some help, he needs to be able to get in touch with is trusty sidekick, Jessie. (They are really into Toy Story right now too).

Thanks to the Dora the Explorer Walkie Talkies, my kids are able to do this much easier. Joley has absolutely no idea how to work the Walkie Talkies but thinks that they are the coolest ever because Dora is on them. Johnny and Kenzie are able to work them and spread out throughout the house and have cut-up conversations thanks to the walkie talkies we were sent. They think it is so cool that they can hear each other without seeing each other.

These are toys. If you are expecting them to sound like something found in the sporting goods section of your local store, you are going to be disappointed. They do work for kids though and my kids enjoy playing with them. You will find that they are a bit scratchy and the sound quality isn’t super clear. But, for a toy, they get the job done in a fun way. If your kids love Dora as much as mine do, these will be a huge hit in your household just like mine!
