Playmobil Review and Giveaway

There is nothing I like more than to see my kids use their imaginations, whether it be by themselves or with toys. Creative toys are a huge hit in my house and Playmobil tops that list. We were sent some Playmobil sets to enjoy… and enjoy we did!

Johnny loves all things for boys. He isn’t biased in any way and will play with anything, but if it is a truck or car, he is so happy. What he loves about Playmobil toys is that they are interactive. By that I mean that his truck moves by rotating the bottom. The platform moves around 360 degrees and the bucket can go up and down. All of this is very easy to do and Johnny can pretend to be digging up the roads or making a sand castle. It is all up to him and his imagination.

Do you have a child that loves the outdoors? Someone fascinated with wild animals? Well then this play set is for you. Johnny and I have spent a ton of time playing with the Wild Life Waterhole today alone. With all the animals and a observation platform, Johnny can pretend to be many different characters. He loves the alligator that has his own hideout and opens and closes his mouth. The giraffes raise and lower their necks to “eat the leaves” on the tree. The “kids” (as Johnny calls them) can climb the ladder to the tree and look out over the animals and water with the binoculars included.

There are so many great sets from Playmobil. I am interested in the hospital set and think it might be fun to include that in the play area where I will be working for the kids to play with it. There are schools, grocery stores, and many more sets you can choose from. There is guaranteed to be something that every kid will enjoy. Plus, you can build on to each set to make a larger play set. There is so much your children can create!

My only complaint about Playmobil products is that they do need to be put together. While that in and of itself is not a problem, convincing my kids to wait until I am finished assembling the play sets is. They are very excited when Playmobil boxes come out and want to start playing right away! So, really I don’t have any complaints about Playmobil… just my kids’ lack of patience!
