Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop Review and Giveaway

by Stefany on August 19, 2010

I am a mom with kids, dogs, and cats.  My house gets messy.  I will tell you the truth… I have tried many, many mops in my life as a wife and mother.  I have spent more money than I care to admit.  That is all over now though and I am so glad to be able to share with you the mop that has made the difference in our house!

We were sent a Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop for review and I was so excited.  That sure says a lot about me, huh?  Excited about a mop?!?  Well, I was and I am.  Let me share some great things about the Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop so you can understand my excitement.

The Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop can work on virtually any type of flooring.  You can use your choice of solution in the refillable bottle.  This is a huge plus for me as I like to keep my floors clean but in a way that is safe for our family.  I don’t like to use harsh chemicals on the floors that our kids and animals walk on.  The refillable bottle is dishwasher safe (top rack) and the microfiber pads can be hand-washed or thrown in your washer for cleaning.  That pad can last up to 100 times in a washing machine!  This is another plus for me because I have had pads that haven’t made it anywhere near that long with other mops in the past.  The Reveal Spray Mop does not use batteries so this will save you money too!  The spray is triggered by you.  Just use the trigger pull on the handle and it will deliver as little or as much solution as you like.

I am sure you want to know how well it works though too, right?  The Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop works fantastic!  Moving the mop is a smooth motion.  You can swivel the head to get into smaller spaces.  On a front and back motion, you are getting 15 inches of cleaning action!  The microfiber mop head is 15 inches in length and 4.5 inches in width.  That is a good amount of space to clean with each pass.  The mop has picked up some stubborn stains left by my kids and animals with no problems.  The mop padd stays in place throughout the mopping… another huge plus with me.  There is no need to worry about your mop pad falling off when you are in the middle of the dreaded chore of mopping.  In fact, I had to use two hands to pull it off the mop head when I was finished!  Once you remove the microfiber pad, you can simply set it aside until you are ready to wash it.  You can leave the unused solution in the bottle or empty it.  It is all up to you!

That is how I would describe the Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop… it is all up to you!  You can determine what solution to use, you can decide how much to spray, you can decide how to wash, and you can decide how to store it.  This is a great addition to our cleaning routine and I am sure it would be in yours too.

You can purchase a Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop for $29.99 at Home Depot, Target, and select Wal-marts.

Thanks to Rubbermaid, I am also able to give one Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop away!

Here is how to enter:

MANDATORY ENTRY: I currently use Pine Sol to clean my floors in this household. The only problem with using Pine Sol is when the floors are dry after cleaning ‘em, they are kinda not sticky, but you can feel a yucky residue left on the floor…I hate it! ‘IF’ I win this Rubbermaid Reveal, I will probably use Mr. Clean with Febreeze. Hopefully it will make the floors feel clean.

I just use a spray bottle with some floor cleaner diluted with water. I’m not picky on the cleaner and usually just buy whatever is on sale but this mop would save me the step of having to spray with a separate bottle and I would love to win it!

I’ve used vinegar for years but recently got a tip to try vodka. I bought a small bottle of really cheap, not drinkable vodka and yes, it works. Everything gleams and there’s no chemical smell (or liquor smell).

I use mostly water, with a little all purpose green works cleaner mixed in. Thanks for the chance!

I’d use a homemade solution with vinegar and tea tree oil

Lo September 3, 2010 at 8:54 pm
katklaw777 September 3, 2010 at 9:05 pm

I’d use a simple solution of vinegar and water or an eco-friendly cleaner. thanks
