Nakano Seasoned Rice Vinegar Review plus Giveaway (1 bottle plus Visa gift card)

I love mixing things up in the kitchen. Keeping my family guessing about what I am going to make is not only fun, but allows for some creativity on my part when it comes to meal time. When I was approached to participate in a blog review for Nakano Seasoned Rice Vinegar, I knew I had to give it a try!

Nakano Seasoned Rice Vinegars are naturally brewed, fat and gluten free and have a sweet, light flavor. They come in a variety of flavors including Original Seasoned, Roasted Garlic, Basil & Oregano, Red Pepper, Pesto, Balsamic Blend and Italian Herb. We were sent a bottle of the Basil and Oregano and my mind started spinning right away. I knew that I wanted to create an Italian dish but had to think of how to use rice vinegar in the recipe.

After looking at the recipes, I realized there is so much that can be done with the Nakano Seasoned Rice Vinegars. You can splash it on anything from salads to pasta to meats and vegetables. The uses are limitless!

I decided to create a special pasta dish for my family last night. Here is the picture of my finished dish and recipe.

Nakano Seasoned Rice Vinegar Pasta Salad

Ingredients:

Chicken tenders or breasts, cut into bite-size pieces

Nakano Seasoned Rice Vinegar, Basil and Oregano flavor

Rotini pasta

Brocolli

Cheese for garnish (I used both parmesan and feta… both were good but the feta was amazing!)

Method of Preparation:

In a large pan, cook the chicken pieces. Instead of using oil, use the Nakano Seasoned Rice Vinegar. Cook chicken until done.

Add frozen broccoli to the pan with chicken. Splash some Nakano Seasoned Rice Vinegar on the vegetables and cover. Keep covered until broccoli is cooked, softened.

Cook pasta in a separate pot, drain and add to the chicken and broccoli mixture. Add a large splash of Nakano Seasoned Rice Vinegar to the dish and mix well. Salt and pepper to taste.

Top with cheese for flavor.

The dish was a huge hit. Even my 10 year old daughter went back for a second helping. This has been added to my must-make-again list. But, I now have many more ideas for how to use the Nakano Seasoned Rice Vinegar. This particular flavor will be really great in place of a salad dressing. It would be really good with Italian sausage as well. I am going to have a lot of fun figuring out ways to use this versatile rice vinegar!
