Yogi Bear is coming to DVD! (giveaway)

by Stefany on March 11, 2011

Johnny, my mom and I went to see Yogi Bear a few weeks ago.  It was GREAT!  We loved Yogi’s antics and the fun plot.  Warner Bros. describes the movie as:

Yogi Bear features everyone’s favorite talking bear Yogi (Dan Aykroyd) and his adorable sidekick Boo Boo (Justin Timberlake) as they raise havoc with their hair-brained schemes in Jellystone Park much to the chagrin of Ranger Smith (Tom Cavanagh). When Jellystone is threatened by a logging company Yogi teams up with a documentary filmmaker (Anna Farris) and must prove that he is indeed “Smarter than the average bear!”

He definitely is smarter than the average bear which tends to get himself in some big trouble (although it is pretty funny).

I was told about this very cool widget that you guys can check out and knew I had to do it. Included on the widget you will find these plus other fun things:

  • Downloadable Adventure Guide! The Yogi Bear widget features a downloadable adventure guide with environmental activities for kids sponsored by The National Parks Conservation Association, Leave No Trace, and more!
  • Save the bears! The Sierra Club has partnered with Yogi Bear to present bear tips, facts, and information on how to help protect these wonderful creatures.

And to make this even more fun, I have the opportunity to give one of you a copy of Yogi Bear DVD that is set to hit the shelves on March 22, 2011.

Here is how to enter:

  • For your first required comment, click on the widget above and then come back to let me know something you learned about bears.

After the first required entry, you can do any (or all) of the following for one entry each (leave a comment for each entry)!

  • Subscribe to ToBeThode by Email (must be verified) or Reader. Leave me a comment that you did or if you already are.
  • Follow ToBeThode publicly in Google Friend. Leave a comment letting me know that you did or if you already are.
  • Follow me on Twitter AND tweet about this giveaway. (You must do both for this entry.) Leave me a comment with your status update! You can tweet once daily for an extra entry. Be sure to come back and leave the URL for your status update.
feel free to copy and paste this tweet:
Enter to win a Yogi Bear DVD from @ToBeThode. http://bit.ly/fLdMiq ends 3/26

  • Share this giveaway (with a link) with your friends on Facebook. Leave me a comment letting me know that you did. It would be very helpful if you would leave me a link or include @ToBeThode in your update.
  • Fan/Like ToBeThode onFacebook. Leave me a comment letting me know that you did or already are. Please include your first name and last initial so I can find you as a fan.
  • Follow my blog on Networked Blogs. Leave me a comment with your first name and last initial so I can find you.
  • Boost this giveaway on Prizey (it may take a one or two days for a giveaway to show on Prizey. If it is not there, please check back to complete this entry.)

Entries will be accepted until 11:59pm (CST) on March 26, 2011. Winner will be drawn by random generator and posted on the Winners page. The winner will be contacted by email and will have 48 hours to respond in order to claim their prize. This giveaway is open for US residents. One entry per household please!

Disclosure: A copy of the DVD mentioned will be provided to me along with the winner’s copy by the sponsor. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Bears that obtain human food quickly lose their natural fear of people – a risk for both human and bear safety.
