Pregnancy is the only time that I have little problems with my digestive health. Any other time, I suffer from a horrible condition called Irritable Bowel Syndrome. It creates havoc in my life and makes planning any dinners out a bit more difficult. I know where every restroom is in stores we frequent. It is a part of my life and one that I forget how much it is bothersome until I go without problems for 9 months. Jemma was born about 2 and a half weeks ago and the problems have already started. I don’t want to live with this condition any longer though so I figured it is time to do something about it.
I have heard great things about probiotics, so when given the chance to try them and share the results with you all, I was game. I also recently learned that probiotics are great for breastfeeding moms and babies and that makes me very happy as well. I know that this is not a topic many people want to talk about. I also know that it affects many, many people. But, even if you don’t suffer from IBS, your digestive health is still important. Your overall health can be affected by using Probiotics. Today, I went on a shopping trip to Sam’s Club to find a new product, Member’s Mark 4X Probiotic.
Now the test begins. I am going to start using the Member’s Mark 4X Probiotic and report back to you on the effects it has on me and my condition. I hope I have good things to say to you because I really could use some relief from the IBS symptoms. Be sure to come back and see the results!

I suffer from IBS, and although most of the time I have figured out ways to manage it with diet, and chamomile tea, sometimes my best efforts fail me, and I could use something for sure.

I will be reading eagerly about your results. I have never suffered with IBS (thank you, thank you, thank you!) but I am having issues now that I am…uh…”going through the change of life.” Because the women of the last generation in my family all used hormone therapy (no, thank you!) I have no family stories to drawn on for information regarding this as a natural experience and am having to rely on forums and websites for information. It seems that a common problem is digestive issues, including immune system weakness and the reduced uptake of nutrients. And, heads up younger ladies!, it seems that the reduced uptake of nutrients can begin before other, more recognizable symptoms of menopause occur. One of the most recommended solutions is probiotics. I am eating yogurt with probiotics, but am strongly considering going to a supplement.

I will be updating on or before November 7th with my results Mary Beth. Be sure to watch for them. From my experience a supplement helps tons but we will see how it goes!

Boy, I know how you feel, I have had IBS since I was 19, right after having my gallbladder removed. Since then, all down hill and I know shortcuts to the bathrooms as well, thanks for sharing this product

That is about when my problems started too Rebecca. I did take a probiotic in the past and it was helpful. I will be updating by November 7th with my results with this product so be sure to watch. To be honest, I can already see a change just from a few days though!
