HOT Christmas Toy! Xia-Xia Review and Giveaway

You can add another hot toy to the list from the makers of fabulous toys like Zhu Zhu Pets, Cepia LLC.  This time you can find another toy that children of all ages will love called Xia-Xia (said Zha Zha).  What are Xia-Xia pets?  They are adorable toy crabs that skitter around and create smiles among little kids.  There are 4 crabs to choose from; Bimini, Turks, Trinidad and Tobago.  What makes them even more fun is that you can dress them up in different shells, just like real hermit crabs!  There are 12 shells available to purchase that I can see may be a fun trading item in the future.  You can also find 3 playsets that your Xia-Xia Toy Crabs can run around and have fun in.

My kids have real hermit crabs so the Xia-Xia Crabs were instantly a big hit in our house.  One thing that my children really loved are the fun little friends that the crabs have that ride along with them on their shells.  Each shell comes with at least one special friend but the shells you  purchase separately come with two friends… another thing I see may become popular to trade!  The crabs can move pretty quick and dart back and forth which caught the attention of my 5 year old son.  My daughters both thought that the crabs were too cool when they realized how the shells can be changed to suit whatever they wanted the crab to look like.

My only complaint about the Xia-Xia Toy Crabs is that their little legs have a tendency to fall off and don’t stay on once they do.  My advice would be to not let 5 year old boys get too rowdy with them to avoid this problem.  The crab we have had this issue with is still fun to play with and we happen to love animals that are disabled so he fits right in here.
