Let’s be honest with each other, okay? Dieting sucks. There is nothing fun about limiting ourselves from the things we like… food. So, I set out to find you some diet-friendly recipes. Specifically these meals are 600 calories are less so they are good for anyone on the Alternate Fasting Day or 5:2 diet plan. This is a plan that really interests me so I wanted to see what I could come up with that I could eat while on the plan. Because, as we all know, if you don’t enjoy the food you eat, you won’t keep eating it!
Recipes under 600 calories – Alternate Fasting Day (AFD) and 5:2 Plan options
1. Avocado Tuna Salad Recipe
2. Turkey Chili with Pintos
3. Spaghetti Squash with Mushroom Rosemary Sauce
4. Grilled Salmon Puttanesca
5. Lamb and Millet Tanginess with Cinnamon and Prunes
6. Skinny Joes
7. Turkey Reuben Quesadilla with Pear
I would love to add your own recipes to this list if you have any on your blog. Just leave a link and I will get it from you! There really are so many great alternatives to a simple salad for meals under 600 calories.
I will talk to you all more about AFD in the future. If you follow this plan, I would love to chat with you about it.
