Baby DeeDee Sleep Nest Review and Giveaway

By now, you are probably aware of the dangers of putting infants to bed with blankets.  For both of my children, I was not willing to take any chances and bundled them up in thick sleepers and swaddles when they were babies.  But, swaddles come off and there are only so many sleepers I have that can fit the bill of keeping my little one warm.   The temperature of the baby’s room is supposed to be a cool temperature (66 to 74 degrees Fahrenheit) but that doesn’t mean that baby should go to bed only to have cold legs and feet.  In addition, my house specifically can get very chilly in the winter time.  There has to be a happy-medium here!  Once my kiddos were a bit older, I found they were kicking their blankets off and woke up cold often.  I was at a loss of what to do until I discovered other options.

We were sent an adorable Sleep Nest Lite for review.  Just an FYI, the Sleep Nest Lite is made in the USA!  I chose to review the Sleep Nest Lite because I personally prefer to layer clothes on my little one and it is made for warmer climates.  I think it will be perfect for Jemma when she is born as it will still be warm here.  Once winter comes, I can put her in a onesie and a sleeper too if she is too cold.  The Sleep Nest is made for cooler climates and would be great for those that have frigid temps in their homes at night or who choose to not put as much clothes on their little one.  I recommend you make a decision based on your own personal preference.

The Sleep Nest Lite retails for $33 for the small size (what I recieved), $35 for medium and $38 for large.  The Sleep Nest is $36 for small, $39 for medium and $48 for size large.  For peace of mind, I think that is a great price!
