Math and I do not get along. I don’t like teaching it even more than doing it though. It is just one of those things that I dislike all around. But, thanks to Carlito C. Caterpillar’s MathHouse Game Card Set, I can make learning math fun for my kids. I am glad to get them started with math on a good note because my hope is that they enjoy math more than I do.
These cards are super cute and offer a variety of options for learning math. Often, you will find that your kids don’t even realize that they are learning at all. It teaches things like sets and patterns as well as number sequencing and addition/subtraction. There are a number of skills taught and practiced in the card set that are perfect for a preschooler or Kindergartener. Johnny was doing some of the simple tasks last year and at the beginning of this year. He has moved on to the more complex skills now… and these cards work on them all.
I love that the cards offer a fun way to learn something that can be so mundane and boring. By using props or playing games, your children can learn some of the most important lessons… lessons they will use their whole life!
You can purchase Carlito C. Caterpillar’s MathHouse Game Card Set for $23.95 (that includes shipping). I would recommend these for a homeschooler or anyone wanting to work on basic math skills with their kiddos! It is recommended for preschool through early elementary aged children.
I have one set of cards to give one of you!
