Jemma is not quite ready for toys yet, but thanks to Playskool, she is all set in a few months when that time comes. We have been huge fans of Playskool for years and that is definitely not changing anytime soon. I can’t wait to see Jemma when she gets to play with her new toys. Because they are so nice and fun, we have decided to hide them for the time being. I want Jemma to have something that is all hers. All of her other toys are hand-me-downs!
This is the Playskool Poppin’ Park Pound ‘N Pop Carnival. What I love about this toy is that it helps to develop hand-eye coordination in little ones. It comes with 3 balls that children push into the hole and then press the plunger. It also plays 8 songs that start up when the plunger is pressed down. Also the elephant’s ears light up when music is played. It is so cute! This toy retails for $19.99 and is suggested for children 9 months and up.
This super cute guy is the Playskool Poppin’ Park Fill ‘N Spill Hippo. He is only $14.99 and recommended for kiddos age 6 months and up. He will be one of the first new toys that Jemma can play with and I know she will love it! This toy is great for a kiddo on the move because the balls come out in unexpected ways leaving your kiddo chasing the ball across the floor. Your child can drop balls into the hippo’s mouth, and a gentle tip will send the balls rolling out while the music makes the action lively and fun. We love him already!
Finally is the Playskool Poppin’ Park Elefun Busy Ball Popper. If you have been in any stores lately, I am sure you have seen this toy because it is a big hit! Available in pink as well as blue, it is perfect for any boy or girl. We have the blue one and I am just fine with that and I know Jemma will just love this toy. What I love most about this toy is that you can control the level of play as baby grows. For sitting play, turn the trunk to point to the green arm so the balls roll into the belly for put-and-take play. When baby can stand, turn it to the orange arm for continuous ball-poppin’ play. Turn it to point forward once baby starts to crawl, and the balls will go flying for baby to chase! Best of all, you can turn the trunk to the center for an unpredictable combination of all three modes! The elephant plays 10 fun songs. I think this will be a very fun game to play with Jemma as she grows and will provide a lot of engagement and activity for her. I can’t wait! This toy is recommended for kiddos 9 months and older and retails for $29.99.
Be sure to check out these great toys and many more in the Playskool line this holiday season. They are going to be a huge hit in my house and have made the ToBeThode’s Must-Have Christmas Gift Guide!
