I love all recipes I can make in my crockpot. This one has quickly become one of my favorites. This is my traditional meatloaf recipe that I use in my crockpot. I am not a fan of ketchup covered meatloaf and this one is not tomato based so it is perfect for us. If you are worried about the grease, you can prop your loaf on ramekins or a metal veggie strainer. I just use a turkey baster and pull the grease out once while cooking and again before cutting into the meat. The veggies taste so good being cooked this way too! You don’t have to do a thing to them. Just place around the meatloaf and the juices cook them to perfection! As with all my recipes, I play with them. Today I used Colby/Jack cheese and more of it. I also added more green bell pepper because we like the flavor it provides. Experiment and find what works best for you! If you haven’t tried a crockpot recipe, give this one a go! You will love it.

This is so funny that I stumbled across this recipe. I was planning on doing a meat loaf in the crock pot tomorrow, but the recipe I have is a little bland compared to this one. So, thank you!

This looks so good! I am going to have to share this recipe with my dad. For some reason tomatoes give him bad heartburn and he has to watch what he eats. He loves meatloaf I think he would really enjoy this recipe! Thank you for sharing!!
