Here in the Thode household, we have gone from one Dora fan to two in a matter of weeks. Jemma has taken a huge interest in TV recently, which I think is from our time in the hospital. As always, I try to have my kids watch things that teach them things that will help their intellect or character. And, as always, Dora helps me out.

Joley took a huge liking to this DVD. She loves all things girly and there isn’t many things more girly than magical wings and butterflies. I enjoyed that there is a Father’s Day episode included because that is right around the corner. I feel that a lot of shows talk about moms a lot but fail to talk about dads. This one talks about Dora’s present to her Papi… giving Joley ideas for what she wants to make for her own Daddy.
Jemma has spent some time watching this DVD recently too. Of course, her attention span is not the same as Joley’s but she does rock and “sing” along. Both of my girls really have enjoyed this DVD and it is one I definitely recommend for any Dora fan you may have.
