I’m not going to get into the argument about Mother’s Day being a commercial holiday or that every day should be Mother’s Day. Dude, I know every day should be Mother’s Day. We rock! But, the fact remains that ONE day each year we are supposed to be honored and pampered by those that love us and we are supposed to do the same for our mother, grandmothers… and the list goes on. So, why then is it every year I never get a darn I LOVE YOU HONEY from my husband and a gift is the furthest idea from his mind?!? One thing I always loved about my kids being in school was that they (at least) gave me a gift. A painted tile coaster or “rose” sculpture sure beat nothing. Don’t judge me. It isn’t about the gift. It is about the thought that someone cares enough about me to, for one day even, show me how important I am.
Red Envelope is a place that every person needs to go when they are looking for a gift for those women on their Mother’s Day list. You better have a list made because Mother’s Day is coming up! On May 12, 2013, I want you all to return to this blog post and tell me that you did, indeed, remember your mom or grandma or someone that is important to you. Okay, I changed my mind. I want YOU to enjoy Mother’s Day. But, please don’t be like my husband and do nothing.
Back to Red Envelope. Recently they let me pick out a little something from their Mother’s Day gift section. There was so much to choose from and I spent a good amount of time picking out just the right thing. From ring holders to pillows, necklaces to art, and a bath caddy to gardening gloves… well, you get the picture. There really is something for every woman on your list! Like I said, I had trouble deciding. You see, I had to have just the right item picked out. It had to be something this certain woman on my list would love. Want to see what I chose?
That my dear readers is an Inspire Bracelet. There are a few different ones to choose from but I just loved the heart one. Here are all of your choices.
So pretty, right? And at only $49.95, they are something most people can afford. Red Envelope has gifts for all price ranges and all occasions so be sure to check them out. The shipping was super fast and even shipped before they said it would. The checkout process was a breeze.
So, back to my original thoughts… How do you ensure you are recognized for being a great mother when your (ahem) husband doesn’t take the initiative to buy you a gift? Remember, it isn’t about the gift but the gift can be your reminder that you are a good mom (and darn it people like you — thanks for that Stuart Smiley). What do you do? You buy it for yourself! Don’t be ashamed and don’t be embarrassed. If you are a good mom and, after buying for all the moms on your list, you see something you just have to have, BUY IT! I don’t care if you are mom to a cat, mom to a rat, or mom to a brat (ha! … I so meant kid, I promise). You deserve some fun gifts this Mother’s Day and Red Envelope is the place to get them. Be sure to check out the discount codes before ordering too!
Believe me, I am enjoying that beautiful bracelet you see above. Yes, that one is all mine. Happy Mother’s Day to ME!
Disclosure: I received a gift card for product in exchange for my review. No other compensation was received. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

My youngest is 16 & she gives me poems & handmade cards, I love it. I hope she does it for many more years. She even will leave me little notes saying she loves me,I’m the best mom in the world & other notes. Makes my day, some are even hidden in my notebook. This yr my mom will be here for 9.days, i can’t wait. Even when things are tough hub gets me a card & will put scratch off’s in it. My kids are old enough to go out shopping on thier own, but I love my homemade gifts they have made. The bracelet is beautiful. I have to check the website out for sure. Hugzzzz
