Last weekend, despite the nasty “dusting” of snow that was actually a few inches of snow, I put Johnny and Kenzie in the car and picked up my mom. We were headed to see a movie we have been seeing previews for and have been wanting to see for a few months now. We were going to see Gnomeo and Juliet!
When this song came on, everyone was ready to get up and move!
This scene really cracked me up. From Juliet’s facial expressions to the “stealth” Gnomeo, it was good for a giggle from me and the kids.
And this clip has my favorite character in the movie, Nanette. She is the BEST!
Kids and adults will both like this movie. There are some things that are above what kids may understand but it in no way makes the movie less interesting to them. Johnny and Kenzie both really enjoyed it. My mom and I both thought it was super cute and are glad we were able to see it. I enjoyed the love story and the story of competition turned to camaraderie. Children will learn a lesson of friendship that they can take away and remember…. differences don’t mean you can’t be friends and working together is always better.
Be sure to check out Gnomeo and Juliet on February 11th at your local theater. If you go see it, I would love to know what you thought!
You can find Gnomeo and Juliet on Facebook!

My kids actually saw this last year as a part of their test audience. 🙂

It looks really cute. Maybe I can take my great-niece and nephew when I am in Florida!
