Are you ready to get into the holiday mindset? I have friends that are already planning all their holiday cookies to be made and when they are going to start this large undertaking. We always go to my parents for the holiday and my mom does such an amazing job on dinner. I am not sure I could even compete with her ability to bring it all together for our family!

I know one thing… I would need to update some appliances if I were to get this holiday prep to be off to a good start. My oven is ancient and, well not a very good one. It takes forever to cook and bake with and is a horrible pain to clean. Best Buy has some amazing appliances to help with the holiday prep and all throughout the year!

induction range

This beauty, the Frigidaire FGIF3061NF, is what anyone who loves to cook needs! It offers induction cooking that enables you to boil water in less than two minutes. Did you see that?? TWO minutes! Can you even being to imagine how much time that would save when you are prepping for the holiday meals? Something else I love?  Induction reduces clean up time because spills don’t burn on.  I mentioned that my stovetop is a mess to clean and it really is. This would sure make the holidays more enjoyable because I wouldn’t be stuck cleaning the kitchen up after a long day. This Frigidaire range also includes a convection oven which circulates the air in the oven for quicker baking time. That means all of you cookie bakers can create even more holiday cookies!

double oven

My mom has one great thing that helps her out every time we get together for a gathering. She has a double oven. This really intrigued me at first but now, I know the beauty of being able to cook two different things, at two different temperatures, at once. The Whirlpool WGG555S0BS offers this great feature… but still fits within the space of a standard range.  It truly is having two ovens in one! My mom is able to put in multiple dishes at the same time, allowing her to spend more time with her family.

Are you looking for some new appliances? Why not head to Best Buy and see what they have to offer? These two mentioned are just some of the many offerings at Best Buy. Take a look and get your holiday prepping started off on the right foot!

Do you cook or bake more during the holiday season?

During the holidays we tend to bake a lot more. Would be so nice to be able to use one of those range. Would make the process of banking so much more easier!

I typically bake every single day from November to Christmas. The problem is that I have a heck of a time finding a place for everything I bake.

I definitely bake a lot more in the cooler seasons. I love making cookies and cakes, banana bread and lots of baked goods. I do find i want to cook more soups and stews as well.

We don’t do Thanksgiving here anymore, so baking doesn’t happen much around that time. However, Christmas my stove gets a workout! I would love to go to Best Buy and look at all the new models. Mine probably isn’t going to make it much longer.

I like the double oven. You could keep foods warm in there too (or plates) while finishing up on a big dish still in the main part of the oven.

I hate to admit I don’t really cook or bake at all but maybe I would if I had such a cool stove!

I usually sit down 2 or 3 weeks before Christmas and plan out everything I’m going to bake that way I have time to find things on sale. Baking can get expensive! I have a pretty decent oven now, but I’d LOVE to get a double oven when I buy a house. That would be awesome!

The more I see that oven, the more I want it. The one I have now is starting to act up even though it is only 7 years old.

I keep seeing that first stove and drooling over it. I wish I had gas here in SC but I have electric and I just can’t get used to it. I cooked with gas for 20 years in our old house and I loved it and more importantly I got used to it. Now I suck at baking everything is either raw or burnt there is not in between. I would love to get a new stove. I just had to buy a washing machine, I’m saving for a new home computer then a stove but they all come from Best Buy that’s my only appliance/computer store! I love it!

I have been wanting a double-oven for I don’t know how long! I was kind of disappointed when we bought our home last year and the appliances were all brand new – I was wanting an excuse to buy that oven! LOL And YES, I cook and bake so much more during the holiday season! Perhaps my oven will break this year…LOL

I need to check to see if they also have double wall ovens. We are closing on a house in 4 weeks and have to replace all the appliances because they owners are taking theirs. We used Best Buy back home for our appliances so I am sure it will be the same here.
