Actually the two are totally separate incidents! lol
Tayler had a good time at Homecoming and I think her first dance was a success. Mike and I bought her a corsage and I had to do some alterations to her dress last minute, but it was nothing a few safety pins couldn’t fix. I also had to cut and hem Cassie’s jacket for the dress but it all worked out. Cassie stayed with us all weekend because her parents went camping. Johnny has a new best friend since her staying here. 🙂 Here are a few pics to share with you.
On Sunday, the kids’ mom started a bunch of crap and drama. I don’t even care to get into it but it all needs to stop because I can’t take it anymore! She has the nerve to say things about what is going on in our house when she isn’t even taking care of her kids. Mackenzie started a bunch of stuff with her too by trying to throw us under the bus (like saying her shoes are falling apart when they aren’t, for example) and that needs to stop too.
Here is an update on the kids’ grandma for those thinking about and praying for her… she is going to start radiation daily for 2 weeks, get injections monthly to increase bone strength (if she gets her teeth fixed… there is a potential reaction that could cause problems), start taking vitamins and have regular doc appointments.
I have done some research for them and am going to pass the info on to Michelle (the aunt of the kids). I think I may have figured a way for her to go to her appts and get her teeth fixed. I am going to supply her vitamins since we have them and buy in bulk. I am also going to keep on her to take care of herself. I have faith that she is going to be okay. Any thoughts and prayers are still needed, so if you can spare them, please send them her way.
