I admit it. I have a problem.

I am a blogaholic. Not so much writing on the blog (obviously due to my lack of doing so) but reading them. I have quite a few blogs on my Reader that I am hooked on. Some are friends, IRL and OL, and some are random people I don’t even know. It is an obsession though to keep up with them. So, why I am mentioning this now? Because I have come to a realization. I need to blog more often in smaller posts instead of saving up all my info and hoping to have time to type it up. So, in addition to my Lake pictures from earlier today, you will get a few other small things as I have time.

Remember Tayler running my van into a curb? Well, I decided I can’t let her drive my van anymore. Just can’t. It still isn’t fixed and I can’t afford any more damage. Besides, she needs to learn how to drive in her own car. After several weeks of looking, Mike and I headed out late Saturday night to pick up this beauty.

That, my friends, is a 1989 Ford Escort. It has only 54K miles on it and is in pristine condition on the inside, being once owned by an elderly man. It is every mother’s best dream in that it is slow, gets good gas mileage and is safe. That thing is built to last and I feel relatively safe with her in it (as safe as can be expected with a new teen driver). We have to get it licensed and inspected and all that jazz… but, soon enough, she will be learning to drive. Watch out!
