I have zucchini coming out of my ears!

I have made 4 loaves of zucchini bread and have made some for Joley too. Zucchini for a baby? It is summer squash, right? So, why not try. Boy oh boy did she try. She loved it. She has eaten carrots, sweet potatoes, bananas, avocado and zucchini and she got the most excited about the zucchini.

I peeled it because the skins are a bit much for her age and then diced it. I put them in my trusty steamer and let them go. They are very watery after being pureed so no extra water is needed. I have been putting it in some rice cereal to thicken it up a bit.

The funny part of this to me is that Johnny is 3 and the first time he has eaten zucchini is when he had the bread. Joley is 6 months and is already in love. I am hoping she is a better eater than Johnny. He is so picky.

This is Miss Bear after eating her zucchini. Doesn’t she look happy?

I still have 3 more zucchini to use. I think I will make more bread and freeze it.
