In honor of my new favorite book for Johnny becoming a Deluxe edition with 3 cds and the launch of www.JesusStorybookBible.com, I have decided to revisit my review of Jesus Storybook Bible.
Here is what I said about the Storybook Bible in my last post about it:
The book is colorful and the stories are written in a way that makes them interesting while still saying what the true meaning of the story is. I found that the other storybook bible we own is basically a very, very abbreviated version of the Biblical story it is supposed to portray. I really want Johnny to understand what the Bible stories are about… not Noah playing with animals on a boat. The Jesus Storybook Bible does not make light of the stories. It is beautifully written and the pages are bright and vibrant.
How do we feel about the Jesus Storybook Bible now, a month and half later? We still love it. I recommend it to anyone wanting a good children’s bible.
