I don’t want to even go into it really, but my weekend sucked. Mike and I fought the whole time it seems. I don’t think he understands that I like to get out on the weekend. I am stuck in the house everyday. I know he wants to stay home on the weekend but I am getting so sick of being caged up in the house. Anyways, he wasn’t in a pleasant mood and I wasn’t putting up with it.
Johnny has started showing interest in potty training. I bought a Thomas the Train potty seat so that is probably why. He has sat on it twice but has yet to actually go to the bathroom. He is really more interested in wiping his butt. LOL I am sure this will be a long process and not one that I am actually pursuing right now. He just isn’t ready. I bought the seat to see if he would be at all interested. We are doing better because before he wouldn’t even sit on the toilet.
Joley desperately needs naps. I realized that after starting the 90 minute wake cycles described in THIS book. It has been quite an eye-opener and I recommend it to anyone with a child under one that doesn’t sleep well, seems sleepy or is overly cranky. I realized that Joley was not getting enough rest during the evening. This is still a problem because it is so much more chaotic in the evenings, but if we can get her to rest, she does soooo much better. I am glad I started this at a young age but wish I had known about it 8 weeks ago.
I brought Joley to get weighed again on Saturday. She is steadily gaining a half-ounce a day. She is actually a bit more than that really. She was 9lbs 15oz on Saturday. It was such a great feeling because I had quit stressing so much and just let her eat when she wants without worrying about how long, which side, how often, etc. I am glad she is gaining on her own now! Whoo hoo!
Speaking of Joley… she is waking up from her nap right now. Off to feed my baby.
