As a mom of girls, one thing they can’t get enough of are dolls. In fact, Jemma’s birthday is less than a month away and the only thing she says she wants for her big day is DOLLS! We have had a number of different kinds of dolls and all have found a way into my girls’ hearts, but none so much as Mooshka dolls. We recently were sent two Mooshka dolls for review and I want to share with you today what we thought about them. The story of the Mooshka dolls is that they were paper doll friends (their hands can join together) and “through the power of friendship they sprung into sweet, huggable girls”. So sweet!
What makes these dolls so special? Well, for one, they are soft. There is not one part of these dolls that you have to be concerned about your little ones bonking on their heads. What?? Are my kids the only ones that ever did that??? Regardless, I love that they are so soft because that means that they can be given to even littler girls (and boys if you want).
Another thing I like about the Mooshka dolls are that they have bright, fun colors. Some dolls are meant to look like real babies. These are meant to be fun and colorful. From their hair to their shoes, you will find several bright colors your kids will love to see.
These dolls each have a name. Why is that so special? Well, while not for every family, but for ours, it is. One of the dolls is named Jemma! Seriously! That may not seem like a big deal but as a child who had an oddly spelled name, it is so neat to find a doll with Jemma’s name.
Each Mooshka doll has a story. For example, the Jemma doll (which is not actually pictured because we bought it after this review was started), is a baker. Myra, pictured above on the left, is an actress and likes to put on plays for her friends. Nessa, pictured above on the right, loves music and learning how to play musical instruments. I think this is so cute because you can find the doll that has an interest that is similar to your own child. Each doll also has a birthday so you may even find one with the same birthday as your own child!
Mooshka dolls are machine washable. Any parent can appreciate that! Your little one can bring their Mooshka doll anywhere with them and you don’t have to worry about her getting dirty. Just throw her in the washer when you get home and she is good as new.
Each Mooshka doll comes in a giftable box. You may want to wrap it, but you don’t have to. The box is really cute just as it is.
Finally, the finger puppets. Each Mooshka dolls comes with her matching finger puppet. Jemma loves them!
You can go online and find some accompanying ebooks for the Mooshka dolls. We have enjoyed coloring the free coloring page downloads too!

She is darling! If my daughter was into dolls, these would make a superb gift! Do they make any for little boys? I think my next child needs to be a girl. Lol

Those are so pretty! I love that they have ebooks and coloring pages to go along, too!
Those are cute. I like the unique way they look too…so many of the dolls today all look the same. It’s nice to have change.
These are SO cute , I wish I had a girl !!!!!
I really do like how bright and colorful they are! And my kids often bonked their heads and mouths on hard doll body parts too, so I like that these are super soft!
I have never heard of these. They look super cute though, perfect for my niece!
I love those dolls. I may just get one or two of them for my 6 month old grand niece. I’m sure she will grow into them quickly!
These are so sweet! I would have loved one as a child, and I would totally love to gift one (or five) of these to several little girls I know.
