I have heard and read several times that a baby can hear while still in the womb. I believe that because Jemma will move suddenly if there is a loud noise. Lullabelly prenatal music belt takes that knowledge and does something with it. I love the idea of this belt. Anything that can calm and soothe the baby developing inside of me is a great thing in my mind. Sadly, I wasn’t able to use the belt the way you are supposed to because of my size. That said, I did try it out and just put a pillow over the belt to keep it close to my stomach. I didn’t notice any changes with Jemma but I still think this is a fantastic idea.
Over the past several years new scientific research has overwhelmingly shown that there are many benefits to playing music while pregnant.
- Helps reduce the mother’s stress levels during pregnancy
- Improves a baby’s sleeping habits after birth
- Lays the foundation for the baby’s learning abilities
- Encourages early brain development
- Creates a wonderful bonding experience between mom and baby
I think the biggest benefit for me out of all of those is the reducing mother’s stress. I have been under a terrible amount of stress during my pregnancy and listening to music really does help me. The rest of those points are not able to be seen yet but, if they prove to be right, I am happy to use the Lullabelly prenatal music belt!
The Lullabelly is compatible with any portable music player that you may own. Each Lullabelly includes: safe sound level speaker for baby, plus audio splitter and deluxe comfort earphones (with volume control) for mom or dad. It is very easy to set up, the fabric is soft and cute and the Lullabelly is easily transported so you can take it to work, in the car (like as a passenger), or anywhere else!
Be sure to check out where to buy Lullabelly (both online and in stores). The Lullabelly can be purchased online for $55 and it comes in a variety of colors. You can purchase an additional earphone sound splitter, additional Deluxe Comfort Earphone Set with Volume Control, and even an extension belt (which is what I needed).
I think this would be a great gift for a newly expectant mommy. If you are invited to a shower anytime and don’t know what to buy, I encourage you to consider the Lullabelly prenatal music belt!
