I have mentioned several times that Joley loves zucchini. My dad brought me more and I made more baby food out of it. Here is how, in pictures!

Start by peeling the zucchini.

Cut off both ends and then chop into small pieces. I use a rice cooker/steamer to make mine so I added them to the steamer.

Add water the steamer pot.

Put pot in steamer and add tray. Put on steam setting for 15 minutes (give or take a few).

When it is complete (fork tender) add them to a bowl or pan to make into puree. Be careful because it will be hot! I use a stainless pot because it works the best for me since it has a flat bottom.

Get out your supplies to puree!

Using a blender/immersion blender/food processor, blend until a smooth puree is made.

Using a tablespoon, add to ice cube tray. Each cube holds about 1oz.

Put into freezer to, well, freeze. 🙂 Once they are hard, crack like you would ice cubes and put in baggies. (This is my preferred method of storage but there are others). I put 2 cubes in each one now because Joley eats that much (or more) with each feeding.
