It is that time of year…. time to plant!! I am almost embarrassed to admit this, but we grow veggies for food… for our guinea pigs. Those little animals sure can eat some vegetables. Now, I am not saying that we don’t eat any of the food either but the majority of our crop goes to our pets. I want to get the most for my money though and am always hopeful for a good outcome for both the flowers and vegetables I plant. This year, I am very happy to be able to try Miracle-Gro Expand ‘n Gro™.
I do all my planting in pots. Each year I want to plant in the ground but we never do it. I have had mixed results from the pots in the past but with the Expand ‘n Gro, I am more optimistic than ever before. Why? Well, let me tell you…
Miracle-Gro Expand ‘n Gro yields up to 3 times the flowers and vegetables (versus native soil), it improves your soil for several years, when water is added the soil expands up to 3 times, and it holds up to 50% more water than regular soil. That means that I have less possibility of killing my vegetables and flowers. That also means that my soil will still be good next year when I go to plant again! Finally, what I love most is that Expand ‘n Gro feeds my plants for up to 6 months!
I am so happy with this product and wish I had it in the past. My black thumb may not have been such if Expand ‘n Gro was part of my history. As it is, I know now that my flowers and vegetables have a future. It is so easy to use and is a super easy way to prep your garden (or pots, as my case may be) for the spring and summer planting.
Be sure to check out the Miracle-Gro Expand ‘n Gro for your own planting needs. I also have one sample size of this fantastic Concentrated Planting Mix to give one of you to try. I know you will love it as much as I do! Leave a comment telling me what you are most excited about planting this year for a chance to win.
Winner will be chosen by random.org on 4/20/12 at 12pm CST.
