Oh yeah! It is that time again…. time for Monday Mingle at Eighty MPH Mom. You know you want to do it… all the cool kids are (and me!). ha!
This week’s questions were:
1. Do you like to garden? What are your favorite flowers?
2. Faves: Coke or Pepsi? Milk Chocolate or Dark Chocolate? Coffee or Tea?
3. What nationality(s) are you? Or what is the primary one?
4. Do you watch the Winter Olympics? What is your favorite sport?
(No, I am not drunk. No, I am not on any pain pills. Yes, I am tired and should be in bed. Well shit, I grabbed my throat about 20 times… it hurts. What can I say? Oh, and the damn cat was driving me crazy!)
Oh, and I fully admit that I am an idiot. Thanks to Kristin, I realize that I am wrong about my “nationality” answer. Duh! I am American. Proud to be an American. Oh yes, I am!

Your cat was cracking me up. I am totally with you on the Coke. We have left a restaurant because they had Pepsi products. We are definitely a Coke family.
Hope you feel better soon.

Very cute haircut. So sorry to hear that your not feeling well!
Wildflowers are so pretty (and much more hardy t00). I’m hoping to incorporate more flowers into my garden this year.
Have a great week 🙂

I’m sorry you’ve been so sick! That sucks.

Love the hair!
Okay, I think we are two peas in a pod. Gardening, yep-yep…love the idea, don’t like the work. Ha!
I don’t like diet drinks, they give me a migraine. Oi…
Yay! Another Iced tea drinker! Oh Em Gee….two years w/out caffeine? You are a better woman than I!
I love curling. I don’t get it, but I pretend like I do. LOL
Get to feeling better!! It sucks being sick!

Helloooo! I’m sorry you don’t feel well (my wife currently has strept as well) but it shows true dedication to mingle even when you’re sick. I go into shutdown mode when I’m sick, garnering all the sympathy I possibly can.
I think this is the first time anyone has said that I’m the reason they “look like sh*t”. I’ve made people FEEL like sh*t but never look like sh*t, so this is quite the honor. 🙂 I do appreciate the kudos though, means a lot!
I suppose you’re right in the whole “Coke or Pepsi, it doesn’t matter” debate but I’m not a diet anything drinker. If I had my choice between diet soda and dying of thirst, I’d choose the latter. G-R-O-S-S! It puts the “nasty” in NASTY.
Everyone likes to make fun of curling. I feel bad for these guys. But before people make too much fun of them…do you have any idea how clean their homes are? Just look at how feverishly the dudes with brooms sweep that ice. You WISH you had someone like that scurrying around your floors. They’d be done with housework in seconds.
This is why I’d suck at curling. I’m a disaster with a broom.
Great to see you again and I’ll look forward to more minglin’!

To be fair, I didn’t give you full credit for my lack of attraction. I just gave you credit for the lack of makeup. 🙂
My husband feels the same way about diet sodas. Really, is it that big of a deal? He acts like it is going to kill him to take one sip of the diet (like when the waiter will mistakenly mix them up). But, if you have to drink sludge to drink tea, I am assuming the lack of sweetness in diet soda may be an issue.
Ahh yes. The curling folks may indeed have very clean houses. Either that or they just sweep everything all over the place to make it appear clean. There really is only so much good that can come of working that quickly. Slow and steady is the way to go.
Thanks for stopping by Greg!
