I wanted to thank you for the kind words and prayers that have been extended over the past week. You really don’t know how much it means to me. I ask that you continue to think of my parents as they deal with their loss.
I am going to try to get back to blogging this week. 🙂 Be on the lookout for a few new giveaways and reviews.
First, a school update… I still have a 96% in my first class and a 100% in the second. I received another grade back and it was 24/25. I am unsure what I did wrong, but the grade is good so I am not going to stress about it. (I totally am). I completed the assignment due today yesterday. I didn’t get much done the past week so I was pushing it but I think it came out okay. My midterm is next week so that means I am about half way through this semester. Thank You God!
We went to the pumpkin patch this past weekend and I was able to get some great pictures. Be on the lookout for those this week. I have about a gazillion to share so I will stretch it out some. Johnny was able to drive the tractor with my dad (he works at the farm), Mackenzie rode a horse and Joley played with straw. We picked up my mom so she could come with us and we had a good day. It was fun! I was going to wear Joley in the sling but decided against it for ease with pictures. It was chilly though so I wish I would have.
Johnny went to Sunday school yesterday in his race car driver costume since it was their Halloween party. Guess what… he didn’t cry AT ALL!!!! I am so proud of him. The teacher said that he participated and even made friends with the other Johnny in the class… who happens to be the son of my friend from M.O.M.S. I love seeing him so excited when I pick him up. It just makes my day. He made a pumpkin yesterday from construction paper and wanted to give it to his BeBe and Bober (my mom and dad) so we brought that to them. He is so proud of himself.
My M.O.M.S. group is fantastic. I love all the ladies and it has been a blessing in my life. We only have another month or so to go and I will be very sad when it ends. I am hoping that we continue to meet as a group once the sessions end. I am also hoping to facilitate next year so that I can be involved more. I have really enjoyed this group and it has literally changed my life. I would love to help other moms get the same response to the group that I have. I will be sharing a poem from last night’s session later here. It is just a testament to friendship and is lovely.
So, that was my weekend. What have you all been up to? How was your weekend?
