I am joining my good friend Kara on her Monday Musings this week.
The weekend was kinda, just ugh. I mean, it was okay. But, it could have definitely been better. After 9 years you would think my husband would know how important some things are to me. I am not asking for a lot. I really just want a card for Mother’s Day and my birthday. Once again, he didn’t do that. He said he ran out of time. My answer to that would be this… you have known for a year that my birthday was coming. That is not an excuse.
So, since I didn’t get anything from him, I decided to treat myself. I went and bought myself an EA Active last night and a new Christian Rock CD. I love the CD and the EA kicked my butt today. I didn’t even finish it and it was rough. I am so out of shape. It is really just sad and pathetic.
I went to Church yesterday, made two trips to Walmart and took Tayler to get a haircut which you heard about if you follow me on Twitter. Twitter has locked me out again. I am sooooo fed up with it. I can’t get on Tweetdeck and it won’t recognize my password change so I am at a loss of what to do. Thankfully, it is still working on my Blackberry.
Yeah, so that was my weekend. Exciting stuff, huh?
Johnny fell off the bottom stair outside last night and has been limping ever since. I have assessed it and it continues to look okay. There don’t appear to be any breaks, no heat and no bruising. I am assuming he sprained it. I feel so bad for him. He is putting more weight on it today than yesterday and is not limping as bad so I will just continue to watch it.
Today I took Tayler up to her school to pick up her schedule for tenth grade. Two of her classes were wrong so we fixed those, she took her picture, picked up her yearbook and then we walked her classes. I can’t believe how long it as been since I was in high school. I graduated 15 years ago. Gosh, that makes me feel so old just typing it. She has several AP (advanced placement) and honors classes this year. Have I mentioned lately how proud I am of her? She has come so far in her time with us. She is such a smart kid. When she applies herself, she can do anything.
Finally, a quick update about Stellan. He was discharged from the hospital today and is back at home with his family. God is good!
