It’s the norm these days… We are wearing masks out of the house. Some places are even mandating the wearing of them. When we go to the store, when we go to church, when we go out in public. The kids have had trouble finding masks that fit and honestly they don’t like many either. But for their safety, we’re wearing them.
I was asked by Mask Market to check out their masks and I was happy to do that. Why? Well you can personalize your mask with your own designs. From pictures to logos, you can make your mask your own. Honestly, if I’m going to wear a mask I would love for it to be fun. I work with kids and they would like to see something cute versus a plain surgical mask and I want something I can wash and reuse.
The girls and I sat down and picked pictures to make our masks more personally ours. Joley picked a picture of her guinea pig, Jemma chose one of our dogs and I made a few with all our dogs. Such fun. But how are the masks?
They arrived today, just in time since they are becoming mandatory in our area. They came with toggles if you need to shorten the ear flap and a nose piece. Also included is a filter that fits inside the mask. I did have difficulty with one nose piece but after some time I was able to get it in. The toggles for the ear flaps are hard to get through but I used the tong of a fork and pushed the strap though. This worked well.
I think the kids at work will like these. These masks came out so cute! I didn’t need the toggles for my masks but I’d say they will easily fit males and females both. I can’t wait to begin wearing my masks.
The girls chose their own masks. Jemma chose to make one of Elvis and was able to customize it with her name. Very cool! Joley chose to make one of her guinea pig, Peanut.
We are very happy with our masks! As a nurse, I feel they will be effective and comfortable.
