I hate that I spellcheck my posts and yet I still mess up. I apparently can spell just fine, typing what I mean to say is another thing. So, when you see that I am am turning on my “over”, please know that I really mean my “oven”. Or, when I am talking about Wheat “things”, I really mean Wheat “thins”. I know, confusing. What can I say? I try.
I am making Joley some sweet taters right now. I hope she likes them. I plan on starting them tonight or tomorrow. I am almost out of carrots so it is time to move on to something new… and make more carrots. The kid likes them. Who would deprive their child of carrots… or orange skin?
I also made the base for Tayler’s cake tonight. She wants a Hello Kitty cake. I will try. I won’t make promises. We’ll see how that turns out. In addition to her cake, she wants homemade pizza. So, I will also be making dough here in a bit. My house is freaking hot and the oven will be on again. Fun! But, it is her birthday and I let the kids pick out their birthday dinner and have taken to making their cakes. I love them so I will sweat it out a bit for now.
We did buy the coolest car ever for Tayler for her birthday and that was her main gift. I felt bad not getting her anything on her birthday though so I bought her some necessities while driving. She now is the proud owner of new floor mats (hers were carpet squares), jumper cables, a flashlight, tire gauge, a lighted key chain and a pink skull lanyard. Nothing says love like auto accessories, right?
My followers are growing in leaps and bounds. Okay, that may be an exaggeration but I have some now! Whoo hoo! Thanks follower friends.
Alright, that was a quick and super boring update on my household. I will be back with Hello Kitty cake pictures. Maybe. We’ll have to see how horrible it is.

Did you know that you can do pizza on the grill? I have a recipe for it on my blog, and I'm hoping to do a step by step picture post of the process soon. You can even put a frozen pizza on the grill to cook. It's nice to have other options for quick dinners when you don't want to turn on your oven.
