My son’s school is celebrating Teacher Appreciation Day today as part of Catholic Schools Week. Whenever I can, I like to send little gifts in to his teacher from him because he enjoys doing it and I want to make sure she knows how much I appreciate all she does for him. It may not be much… a tube of Chapstick, a little note. It is the thought that I hope she enjoys.
For today I decided to do something a little different. I worked on a scarf last night for about 3.5 hours. I love the color and hope she does too. I always hesitate to give gifts I make because I see all the flaws (like this one has a tight bind off that curls at the bottom). I didn’t have time to block it so it is what it is. I hope she sees past the flaws and enjoys her scarf.
With a little note from my son telling her she is “awesome”, I am hopeful that she has a wonderful Teacher Appreciation Day!
This was knit with Bulky yarn following this pattern.
