One thing I distinctly remember is how cool the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were when I was younger. Now, admittedly, I wasn’t *young* but I remember how much fun everyone had. I remember everyone dressing up as their favorite turtle on Halloween and the catchy slogan that went along with them… Turtle power!!!
So, when I was asked if I wanted to review the newest DVD Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Rise of the Turtles I jumped at the chance. I love being able to share things with my kids that I remember from my own younger days.
What you get with this DVD is the following Episodes:
Rise of the Turtles (Double – Length episode)
New Friend, Old Enemy
I Think His Name is Baxter Stockman
Johnny (and Joley too) have really, really enjoyed this DVD. Johnny says that he likes them because they are fighting bad guys. Of course… that is what he picks up on. That and that they know karate. ha! Oh, and I must not forget the poster that came in his DVD box.
These aren’t the same Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo I remember from when I was younger. Of course the animation is much better but the turtles look a bit different too. That said, I still think they are super cool and I would recommend this DVD to others.
You can purchase the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Rise of the Turtles on preorder now at Amazon. The title officially comes out on February 26th!
I have one copy of this awesome DVD to give away!
Disclosure: We received the DVD mentioned for the purpose of review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
