First, congrats to my friend Jen on the birth of her baby girl, Samantha! Enjoy your babymoon!
This has been a busy weekend for me so far. We brought the kids to their grandparents last night and then went to Michael’s to get letters for Joley’s room. I have painted them a light purple color, a canvas an eggshell color and will be putting the letters on the canvas tomorrow.
I *almost* finished Johnny’s Spongebob costume. I have to do his eyelashes and then I am done. I was going to do the sponge spots but I think it looks better without them. Unfortunately, Johnny isn’t thrilled with wearing a costume and doesn’t want to keep it on. *insert eye roll* Hopefully all that work wasn’t for nothing and he will calm down.
I still need to make him some brown pants for under the costume and hope to get those done tomorrow. I also want to sew the blackout curtains for our bedroom tomorrow but not sure if that will happen. I am off Monday after 8am so I might try to do some sewing then. I still need to make Tayler’s tote for school too so hopefully I can get some energy for that as well.
Tomorrow we are moving Johnny’s fishies into his new room. I also want to get the nets for the stuffed animals up and get his letters hung. I want to redo his letters eventually but for now, they will just stay the way they are. I also want to get some of the stuff in Joley’s room done… especially washing and putting her clothes away. There is 53 days left in this pregnancy if I go to my due date. Eeek! I just can’t believe how fast it has gone and look forward to my vbac. I am more and more content and satisfied with not going the repeat c/s route after everything I have learned.
Both Johnny and I are sick so hopefully we are both feeling better soon. I hate being sick and pregnant. We may end up putting the heat on tomorrow night because it is expected to get below freezing overnight! I am not ready for the really cold weather. I like the fall weather best.
Well, I am off to watch SNL. Have a great weekend everyone!
