I was recently given the opportunity to review Table Toppers from Neat Solutions. Have you seen these wonderful inventions?
Johnny is messy. Besides being messy, he has no concept of germs. He will set his fork/spoon down wherever he wants. When we are out at a restaurant, it makes me cringe when he sets the fork he just put his mouth on right onto the table. I am grossed out to think of all the ickies that are on that table! We are constantly reminding him to set it on his napkin or on the plate. He is 3 though and just doesn’t get what the big deal is all about.Enter Table Toppers. What a great concept. All you do is peal off the little stickies that are on both long ends of the Table Topper and stick it to the table. We use it under plates and even instead of plates. Joley can eat her finger foods off of them without my having to worry about her eating off the dirty table. Johnny can set his utensil down without my stomach turning. We even put condiments on the Table Topper without worry! The best part? When you are done, you can just pull it off the table and toss it!
We have found other creative uses for the Table Toppers as well. While not the true intention for them, they are great to use for messy activities. I will stick one onto our table for when Johnny plays with Play-doh or paint. There is no mess on my table and I can just toss it when we are done. It doesn’t get easier than that!
The Table Toppers we received for review were designed with Dora the Explorer and Baby Einstein (there are several other designs as well) so they were a big hit with Johnny. We also received a Potty Topper (a disposable toilet seat cover) which we have not been able to use yet. It is huge and easily covers the whole toilet seat. They are much bigger than the ones that hang on the wall in public restrooms. In addition to these two items, Neat Solutions also makes Floor Toppers, Meal and Play Mats, Multi-use Pads, XL Changing Pads (for public changing tables) and Disposable Bibs. You can see all the Neat Solutions products on the web site as well as where you can buy them.
Table Toppers are something I love. What do you love? Head over to Diaper Diaries for more entries in Things I Love Thursday!
