We love rice in our house. The funny thing about that is that as a child I rarely ate rice at all. Now, it is a staple in my cooking. I use rice in so many dishes and the kids all enjoy them. When I found out about Uncle Ben’s Whole Grain Brown Rice, I was excited to try new varieties of rice in our menu. I immediately started thinking of ways to use the rice when we received it.
Instant rice is always needed in my house. There are times when I don’t get to start cooking until dinner time is upon us. With the use of Uncle Ben’s Fast and Natural Instant Brown Rice, I can give my family a healthy meal in little time.
Something that I have started doing often is to add some Uncle Ben’s Fast and Natural Instant Brown Rice to meals in place of pasta. You can do this with both casseroles and soups. What I love about rice is that you can use a little and it goes a very long way. Using rice as a base for chicken, beef, or vegetables adds another dimension of flavor and is a way to make your meal stretch further.
Why do I love the Uncle Ben’s Whole Grain Brown Rice, Fast and Natural Whole Grain Instant Brown Rice, and Natural Whole Grain Brown Rice? Mike made a meal that he used the Uncle Ben’s Boil-in-Bag Whole Grain Brown Rice. I am new to the boil-in-bag rices but was very pleased with the result. In just 10 minutes, the rice was cooked and ready to be eaten. Adding some chopped chicken, broccoli, and cheese spread and this was a delicious meal that was liked by all.
