I called the peri this morning to change my appt time and asked to speak with someone regarding my u/s yesterday. The woman said that everything looks okay on the baby… that the report states they need to see the baby’s spine. Being that the doc told me that he everything he saw looked ok and that I know they saw some of the spine, I am telling myself that the baby is perfectly fine and they simply need to get a better look at the spine. Baby was a stubborn little thing and didn’t move much for them so it is entirely possible that they just couldn’t see the angle they wanted. There was nothing but the spine on the report so I am believing that everything else is fine, including the heart and kidneys… both of which they saw.
I still go back on August 19th. Hopefully the baby will be good and show them what they need to know. I have faith that everything is fine. The lady at the office told me that there are plenty of things that worry a pregnant woman, but this is one I can cross off my list. 🙂
