Wordless Wednesday – Week 33 w/linky

Joley and Jemma’s room is finally (almost) finished.  Well, we still have no baby bed and Jemma’s side of the room has just her mattress and bassinet that will be moving into our room.  But, the painting is finished and the border is up!  I still need to do some touching up on the ceiling where I had an oops moment while painting but it isn’t much and I will likely end up waiting until it is safer for me to get on a ladder.

Here is the border and paint color in the girls’ room.

This is the wall that basically shows what side of the room each girl gets. Be sure to watch for the review of those name decals soon! You can see that there is a white rocking chair in there and you can’t see that there are guinea pigs under that window.

Joley and Jemma are not the first of our kids to go into this bedroom. Several years ago, Hubs’ eldest daughter spilled something (nail polish I think) and tried to clean it up with a bleach spray. Needless to say, there is a big stain on the carpet. I bought this rug to go into the room. The colors match really well!

What I didn’t show you is the furniture placement. I will do another post once (and if) we get Jemma’s bed. I have had a number of problems getting her bed and am losing hope that we will be able to get one that I like. Fingers crossed!
