That is about all I can say about the weekend. It started with a pretty easy Friday evening. I made chicken noodle soup and threw in some dumplings. It was a big hit. We found a nice pendant light for our kitchen to replace the one we hate and that looks like crapola. We ended up getting it for about a 1/3 of its original price… only $15! Can’t beat that! We sent the kids to bed and that was that.
Saturday turned out to be a horrible day. We brought the kids to their grandparents’ house, ran to Michaels to get a paint brush I need to finish Joley’s name picture and then went to MoChip. It is a free program that gives you necessary information in a convenient format if (God forbid) your child is ever lost. It was horrible. There were so many people there and you have to go through long ass lines to get through the process. Johnny was done after awhile and I just couldn’t take it any longer either. We left early. Mike brought two of the dogs to Petco to get their shots and then went back up to MoChip to finish the process.
In the meantime, he and I got into an argument (from pure frustration) and I started having horrible contractions. My back was killing me and the contractions were coming right on top of each other. There was such intense pressure down below that I was wondering if she was on her way out. I had serious thoughts about going to the hospital but didn’t want to. We went to dinner and I couldn’t eat from the pain. I came home and put a heating pad on my back which helped none. I ended up going to bed and hoping for the best.
I woke this morning still in pain. I probably should have went to the hospital but oh well. I am still pregnant and the pain isn’t as bad today. It was just so bad yesterday… no other time have I felt that bad.
We ran to Costco today, then to Hancocks for a great sale on fleece (for a blanket for Johnny), to pick up the kids and Aldi’s for their $20 crock pot. We came home and Mike put up the ceiling fan in Mackenzie’s room. I filled out the paperwork for the mortgage company (huge headache) and then we got the kids ready for bed. I am so ready myself.
Anyways, my weekend sucked. I was hoping to relax some but that didn’t happen. I desperately need some time “off”.
By the way, this baby is getting big. I am thankful she is head down but it is so different than with Johnny. Her little butt is up in my chest so often. I am just so happy to feel her all the time now.
