Remember a few weeks ago when I told you that we were going to the Lego KidsFest? Well it was a few weekends ago and it was so much fun. I wanted to say a huge thank you to Lego KidsFest for providing us tickets to go. I know you may not know what to expect if Lego KidsFest comes to your area, so I am going to bombard you with some images from our night. It was a blast and the kids are still talking about it!
The first thing we saw when we walked in was this huge Batman and Lego sign. The kids were so excited!
One of my favorite stations (there were several different ones set up) were the monochrome ones. The purple brick section was the girls’ and my favorite one!
Walking around, you will be greeted with a number of different displays and activities. Johnny really loved the chance to work with Lego robots.
All throughout, you will find some really amazing Lego creations. We had a great time posing with them!
The girls spent some time creating.
Johnny created as well. His Lego creation was put into a display case!
My absolute favorite Lego display was the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle one. It was amazing!
There were a few places that had Duplo brick piles. Kids could sit down and build or pull from bins. The girls and I spent a good amount of time in this area!
If you get the chance to go to Lego KidsFest, I would recommend you go! We had a wonderful time and will definitely go again if/when it comes back to St. Louis.
Now, if the thought of a pile of Lego brick makes you cringe, I have some fun and creative ideas for Lego storage for you!
1. Organize with bins
2. Cube organizers
3. Lego toolbox
4. Ikea hack table and storage
5. Fabric bins
6. Cheap and easy storage idea
7. Storage buckets
8. Vinyl storage
