It’s almost the end of the school year. Time has been winding down for the past few months and we are finally in the last 2 weeks of school. I have no plans to work over the summer. I have a long month full of camps for the girls during June (5 camps!) and then they have some doctor appointments in July. I will hopefully get some time to relax in the summer too.
I wanted to share what I received for School Nurse’s Day. My parent’s association sent me a gift card to a local bakery. I also received this beautiful flowering plant.

I also walked in to my room full of adorable colored pages from Kindergarten and Pre-K kids. They are literally all over the room! I have them up still because they make me smile. How adorable!

Finally, I received a gift from a student yesterday at field day. He said “this is thanks for taking care of me when I was sick”. So sweet.

I feel very blessed to be appreciated for my work with the kids of our school. Nurse’s Week is now over but I will always remember the joy I received this year thanks to the staff and students of my school.
