This marks the first week of summer vacation for everyone in the house. Kenzie starts camp this week which means I have to wake all the kids early and get her there, which kinda stinks. But, I think it will do her and us some good for her to be out of the house some this summer. On Wednesday I have to attend a class so that I can volunteer at Johnny’s school next year. But, the real big day is Friday and I can’t wait!
Friday is the BIG ultrasound. This will be the main chance we have to see this baby from the head to the toes. We will see the heart, the spine, and everything else. I will also find out for sure the sex of the baby and will be able to announce that very soon and start planning for the arrival of a little girl or boy.
On Saturday, Johnny has a baseball game and then immediately after we are heading to our parish picnic where I volunteered to help. I expect we will be there all weekend which should be a ton of fun for us all. I know the kids are looking forward to some games and rides. The mister and I are looking forward to spending some time as a family and some good food. (Too bad I can’t join in the beer garden this year! LOL)
I have been having more and more contractions lately but am hopeful that I will be able to get through this week without having to stop and slow down. I have a ton to do and am looking forward to (almost) all of it!

Woot!! on the ultrasound!! and yep I agree stinks you gotta get the kids up early for camp. for me.. gotta get the yard mowed.. grass is getting high, have a few more veggies to plant.. just to stinking hot to get out.. been gone this weekend on a scout campout, it was miserable.. the weather hot and HUMID. I didn’t know about the 5 mile hike, until the next morning, I could have chickened out, but no I got brave and did it. I just about died getting back, I sucked down my water to early and couldn’t wait to get more water. Yep Summer has arrived and it is going to be a very hot summer!
