Building a baby wardrobe with Carter’s Little Layette Collections ($50 Carter’s gift card giveaway)

One thing I have always loved, for each of my children, are Carter’s clothes. From the time they were born, my kids were in clothes made by Carter’s. Johnny’s favorite snuggly toy is even a Carter’s product. I also go straight to Carter’s for any new or expectant mommies I know. There is just so much that is needed for a newborn and Carter’s takes care of it all… from bodysuits to blankets, pants to bibs, and everything else they may need for their new bundle of joy. The accessories add a special touch to any gift as well. The blankets, bibs, socks, booties, bath towels and wash cloths, and hats all make a gift memorable. One stop at the Layette Shop and I am ready to go!

You don’t even have to worry about gender selections either! For baby boy, you can find the “Elephant Friends” and “Little Speedster” collections. In blue with elephants and turquoise and grey with turtles (respectively), they are perfect for any little man entering your or someone else’s life. For the baby girl you can find “Poppy Blossom” and “Precious Pink” collections with poppy and pink colors or navy, hot pink and butterflies. But, don’t worry if you don’t know the gender of the baby you are buying for! Carter’s even has a gender nuetral collection called “Animal Pals” that features orange, yellow, grey and turquoise with cute and different animals on it.

So, at this point you may be wondering what the Little Layette Collection really is. It includes such things as seasonal baby collections, Sleep N Pays, bodysuits, 3 piece sets, and 2 pack pants. For my girls, I loved the Sleep N Plays all the time when they were younger. As they started to grow, I leaned more toward the bodysuits and pants. But, I always had other baby clothes for them to wear around. I love how Carter’s has such a great variety to choose from, and with the collections, you always have a chance to get matching clothes.

I love putting my girls into dresses. Jemma has a new Carter’s dress and I think she looks adorable!

Joley is now into different sizes and is quickly outgrowing Carter’s clothing. But, one thing I am still able to do is buy my girls matching clothes. But, the best part is that they aren’t truly matching a lot of the times. Carter’s allows for Joley to wear “big girl” designs while Jemma still has the baby/toddler cuts. While their clothes don’t match, the prints do and it makes for some very cute outfits!
