Easter is upon us and, once again, I am struggling with non-candy things to give my kids. I am not a huge fan of sugaring them up for days simply because the Easter Bunny comes. There are a ton of things you can find that kids would enjoy, but thanks to Activision, I have some ideas my Skylanders lover is so excited to have. Activision sent us a variety of items to try but, honestly, we love Skylanders already and would have purchased all of these in time probably!
Adding any Skylanders to your child’s basket are sure to be a hit with any Skylanders player. But, did you know that there are special Springtime themed Skylanders Minis and a Springtime trap? The ones we have are the Earth Bunny Trap and the Mini Power Punch Pet Vac. There is actually one more Mini called Eggsellent Weeruptor, but we have not been able to find him locally.
Johnny loves the Earth Bunny Trap and I have to agree. How stinking cool is that?!?
There are some really great Trap Masters available now too. Johnny’s favorite new one is Thunderbolt. He told me that Thunderbolt is his strongest Trap Master now!
The other new Trap Master we received is called Short Cut. He is a pretty neat character that has some fun powers that Johnny is excited to try out.
Finally, the other Trap Team core characters we received are (L-R below) Rocky Roll, High Five, and Bat Spin. I know it is such a non-technical way to do this but I have to say that they are really neat looking characters. Skylanders Trap Team really does have some unique characters and ideas. Johnny is thrilled with these new additions to his collection.
As I mentioned, I think these are great ways to spruce up an Easter basket. I will be looking for more characters for Johnny’s basket for sure. Why? They are fun, provide a great time for him, and are not a piece of candy that is gone in one minute!
